University of Punjab

The University of Punjab was established in 1882 in Lahore. This University is the largest and oldest educational institution in Pakistan. It was the first in the Muslim-dominated part of the subcontinent. This University, located in the historical and cultural city of Lahore, has played a vital role in the country’s higher education system.   The University of Punjab provides quality degrees, an enjoyable environment, and low tuition fees. This University has two main campuses first one is the Allama Iqbal Campus, named south Asian thinker and national poet. Another Quid-e-Azam campus is also called the new campus of this University. It is located 12 kilometers to the south of the Allama Iqbal campus. It is the Centre of academic and managerial activities.

Currently, the University’s on-campus teaching and research programs are structured into fifty institutes, departments, constituent colleges, or centers that provide over one hundred degree, diploma, and certificate programs. This has steadily increased the University’s educational activities. This University has played an essential role in higher education in Pakistan.

Quaid-e-Azam University

Quaid-e-Azam University was established in July 1967 under the act of the National Assembly and also started teaching and research programs for masters M. Phil and Ph.D. degrees. Because of its worldwide reputation, professors, and programs, the institution draws many international students. This University has established its links with other universities in Europe, UK, and United States. Currently, Quaid-e-Azam University has four faculties moreover nine other teaching and research institutions Faculty of biological sciences, National Sciences Faculty, Social Sciences Faculty, and Medicine Faculty. In addition, the University maintains a high level of service delivery. It offers well-equipped classrooms, cutting-edge labs, and a well-stocked library. Other campus amenities include male and female dormitories, sports and playgrounds, transportation, a mosque, a bank, a utility store, a post office, photocopying and thesis/paper binding, a telephone, and a café. To improve the educational and technical needs of the country, this University plays a vital role. Faculty members receive countless rewards nationally and internationally.

Agricultural University

In Faisalabad, a public research institution is called the University of Agriculture. It is the oldest agriculture institute in Asia. It was established in 1961. It is a vast campus with many green open areas, modern and traditional buildings, and housing for many students. The University of Agriculture Faisalabad is located near the city of Faisalabad, Pakistan, and it is spread over an area of 2550 acres. The campus consists of several buildings of traditional Muslim architecture that hold various services, including a Zoology Museum, an Art Gallery, and approximately 15000 student homes.

The University is organized into the faculties of agriculture, agricultural engineering and technology, social science, and animal husbandry. The main focus of this University is on agriculture and agricultural development; moreover, it aims to support the development of Pakistan. Academically, this University offers a BS four-year degree program in which students study standard courses for four semesters afterward; students can choose their subjects before beginning the 5th-semester agriculture. Primary topics include plant breeding and genetics, agricultural sciences, horticultural sciences, food science, and technology. Furthermore, this University offers scholarships to its students based on financial needs and academic reports. In addition, the University offers short programs and diplomas.

International Islamic University

International Islamic University is a public research university in Pakistan. It was established in 1980 in Islamabad. It is a higher education system associated with the Islamic religion. The International Islamic University of Islamabad (IIUI) provides a variety of courses and programs. Bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees are all legally recognized higher education degrees. IIUI also offers students a library, lodging, sports facilities, financial assistance scholarships, and administrative services, among other academic and non-academic facilities and services. In addition, it focuses on promoting higher education among youth and provides scholarships to students.

National University of Sciences and Technology

The National University of Sciences and Technology is a public research university. It was established in 1991 in Islamabad.
